Curriculum Intent Science
At Wadsworth Fields Primary School we provide children with a challenging and engaging science curriculum that sparks children’s curiosity about the world around them and promotes a passion for exploration and discovery. Our curriculum is carefully sequenced to enable children to build on key scientific knowledge, understanding and skills. We believe that child-led scientific enquiry should be at the heart of our lessons so children learn to think like scientists and are able to ask questions, plan investigations and find out about the world they live in. We want children to leave us with an enthusiasm for science, confidence to pursue the next stage of their learning journey and an understanding of the importance of science, today and for the future.
