We are very proud of our school Nursery at Wadsworth Fields. Our youngest children feel secure, happy and excited to play and learn.
The warm friendly atmosphere in Nursery, with experienced qualified teaching staff and interesting play opportunities, help the children to develop their potential. When children move from Nursery into full time school, the transition is smooth, as they have already formed many friendships and are familiar with staff. We also plan and work closely with staff in Foundation Stage 2 (Reception).
Children attend for either 5 mornings or 5 afternoons. We also provide 30 hours free childcare for working parents.
The nursery provides a bright and stimulating environment in which to learn. We have a wonderful outdoor space with raised beds to grow fruit and vegetables. a mud kitchen with a herb garden, beautiful mature trees that change with the seasons and lots of space to explore and play in.
Every half term we have a different topic or theme which helps to inspire the children to explore and learn in different ways.
